| CURRENT SCHEDULE
As part of its efforts to rekindle the camaraderie we experienced in flight school and in Vietnam, the VHPA makes available meeting rooms, signage, and Audio Visual equipment
for up to four hours at no cost to a ‘unit.’ When it comes to VHPA Mini-Reunions the term ‘unit’ includes a wide range of birds-of-a-feather affinities. Examples are:
‘Soc Trang Units’ (for anyone that served with a unit based out of Soc Trang), ‘Tandem Rotor’ (for anyone that flew CH-21s, CH-46s, or CH-47s), ‘Dust Off’ (for anyone who
flew in an Aerial Medical or Rescue unit), ‘Class 64-3W,’ ‘68th AHC Top Tigers/Mustangs’ (for anyone who served in or with this unit at any time when it was in Vietnam), ‘227th AHB 1st CAV’
(for anyone who served in or with this battalion at any time when it was in Vietnam). Even VHPA Chapters can request a meeting room!
Please note: Mini-Reunions are
typically scheduled in 4-hour blocks and are available for booking on
Thursday, July 1,
1-5pm; Friday, July 2, 1-5pm; Saturday, July 3, 9am-noon and 1-5pm; Sunday,
July 4, 1-5pm. (please consult with the complete Reunion schedule to avoid asking attendees
to choose between ‘two good options'.) When slots are
"SOLD OUT", you can schedule a mini-reunion during these
periods if you will be providing your own room. Please indicate any
special
requirements you have in the
"Comments" section of the mini-reunion scheduler.
A minireunion is a gathering of a group on
a single day at the time and place allotted for such gathering by the VHPA National
Reunion Agenda. Minireunions are typically scheduled in four-hour blocks and a group may request
a second four-hour block; this second block will be granted on a space
available basis with priority for the particular space given to units
requesting only one block. Use the
"Comments" section of the mini-reunion scheduler to request a second
block. Keep in mind that mini-reunion rooms are not to be used as TOCs
but we do have a limited number of TOCs available this year. Contact
Mike Law (mglaw@earthlink.net) for scheduling a TOC.
